Duramax® Duradorm
One piece, molded fiberglass free standing bed with enclosed sides. The sides taper inwards to allow for toe space. It can be simply set in place or it can be anchored using an optional anchor kit or additional weight can be added to restrict its mobility. Since the bed is hollow, there is an optional bottom enclosure for when the bed is left loose, should that be a concern. In addition to correctional facilities, this model bed is very popular with mental health providers. Its modern design is non-threatening, it will withstand a good amount of abuse, it can be washed with mild soap and water and will not absorb body fluids. All the corners and edges are rounded, there are no seams or attached components and the surface has a slight texture.
