The Wide Body model was introduced to address the needs of facilities with a population of obese persons. The bed is wider and longer that the standard DURABED and most importantly it is equipped with a molded ribcage underside for added weight carrying capacity. The four leg design still allows for the use of a lift to remove non-ambulatory patients from the bed for changing, bathing and other needs. All the other Glasspec's features such as one piece molded construction, are present.
