This is a wall mounted, one piece, molded fiberglass bed that installs using adhesives and therefore has no exposed fasteners. The surface is textured, the sides are recessed, they have two molded storage compartments in the front and a raised lip to keep the mattress in place. At 16" in height, without the mattress, they can be used by both juveniles and adults. There are two models that mount in a corner and they are the mirror image of each other, a “right” (*RC) and a “left” (*LC). There is a third model (*C)designed to be installed across the width of a room against three walls using a separate filler piece to bridge the span between one end and the adjacent wall. All the inherent advantages of a fiberglass product are present in these beds.
The design of this bed provides an extra level of security in potential suicide situations and has been designated SAFE and used in combination with our wall mounted SAFDESK and SAFSTOOL at many facilities.
